ManaTales
Gather round in our outdoor classroom every third Thursday at 10:30, as we share some of our favorite nature-themed children's books! With a fun activity following. This storytime and activity are free with free admission to The Center.
Lunch & Learn Lecture Series
Join us the second Friday of each month at 12pm for informative lunch lectures by guest speakers that vary from biologists to writers & scientists to artists. This free lecture begins at noon. Bring a lunch, bring a friend, and discover something new!
Fin-Tastic Fish Feeding
Join us for a fin-tastic aquarium feeding program on Tuesday - Saturday at 2:00 pm!
The Manatee Observation and Education Center is a waterfront environmental education and wildlife viewing center located on Florida’s east coast in beautiful downtown Fort Pierce. It is home to over 30 fish species including lion fish, porcupine puffer fish, and a black edge moray eel. Learn more about manatees and the Indian River Lagoon by visiting the Manatee Observation and Education Center and attending on of our education programs, including our Wednesday and Saturday Fish Feedings.
